Is creating AR Face Tracking campaigns easy?
At the moment, Aryel is a one-of-a-kind AR marketing platform that features a drag and drop interface to easily set up engaging AR campaigns in only a few easy steps.
You need no coding skills to create your first unique, 100% customer Face Tracking AR and experiences, share them online with a simple URL, and boost your performance using real-time insights and analytics and understand what resonates best with your audience.
Why should you bother adding Face Tracking to your marketing mix? Good question, here we made a list of good reasons:
- Users who watched the AR version of the product were 44% more likely to send the product to the basket
- 27% more often place an order
- Made purchases 65% more often (source: Shopify)
This is the perfect way to broaden your audience and reach user segments like Millennials and Gen Z, who are the perfect target for this kind of content.
All right, enough with the chit-chat, let’s see how to create your Face Tracking campaign with Aryel! 🚀
1. Set up your AR campaign name
Let’s start creating your campaign by setting the name. This step is pretty self-explanatory, choose the perfect fit for your Face Tracking experience, and we’re ready to start.
2. Select campaign type
Aryel supports campaigns with more than one scene or experience — and we are pretty proud of this feature since it’s gonna help you create amazing effects.
Now, among all the campaign types, choose Face Tracking — and do not forget to come back and try them all, of course!
3. Add a scene
First of all, we need to add a scene to our campaign. Give your scene a name — this makes it easier to manage the scenes afterward, so don’t underestimate this step!
No need to choose the trigger at this point since it will be your audience’s face.
4. Add your media
Time to be creative: now, we upload the digital content shown inside the AR scene, or in other words, above your beautiful face.
At the time of this article, Aryel’s WebAR Face Tracking features supports different types of objects:
- 3D model
- Button/CTA (Link, Email, Phone)
To start getting acquainted, we provided you this fun filter! Arrrr!
You can easily manage all your assets, uploading them to your media library at any moment or directly here when you create a new campaign. Also, Aryel has access to third-part libraries, with over 300k AR-ready media assets. How cool!
💡 Tip: Aryel supports multiple media in one single scene; this means you can add a fun filter and add music too!
5. Manage your media properties
With Aryel, you have complete freedom: adjust and fix even the tiniest details of your media. From position to size, you can customize everything by clicking on the media and then on “Properties.”
6. Add some interactions
Last but not least, do not forget to add a CTA: that’s crucial to make your users do what you’re expecting from them!
Click on the Interactions tab and unleash your creativity’s true potential!
You can choose among these interactions:
- Right eye open/close
- Left eye open/close
- Either eye open/close
- Mouth open
- Mouth close
- Mouth open or close
Remember when we told you about naming the scenes? Here’s when that step became crucial: with interactions, you can make your experience fun and engaging; let’s see how.
In this tutorial, we wanted a pipe to appear when users open their mouth; first, we create a scene with a pirate hat, naming it “scene 1″ — to this scene, we add the interaction “open mouth” that triggers the passage “to scene 2″.
Then we added the pipe to scene 2… and the final result is that when the users open the mouth in front of the camera, a pipe magically appears between their lips. Yay!
7. Customize your experience
The last step before publishing is customization; Aryel supports white label, so you can 100% personalize your content.
Just access the Style tab and choose to add your brand assets, such as the logo, brand colors, and fonts. Also, you can change the Favicon, choose a custom launcher or add cool filters to the camera (who doesn’t love Sepia?)
As a last touch, go to Settings and choose which features to enable: screenshots, how will your URL appear, the opportunity to share the content… the choice is in your hands!
8. Publish your campaign
Finally, it’s time to post your campaign online.
Set up your URL, but do not stress: you can always change it later in the “Settings” panel.
Share your campaign with your audience: they only need to tap (or click!) on the link on their browsers and enjoy!
