March Product Update: E-Commerce Plugins, Face Campaign Desktop Compatibility & More

March 29, 2024

Product Update - March

Hello there AR Marketing Pioneers,

March brings the promise of spring and new Aryel features to help your Augmented Reality campaigns blossom.

This month, we’re proud to unveil updates that not only improve your e-commerce integrations, but also expand the accessibility and usability of AR experiences across devices and platforms.

Seamless integration with the E-Commerce Plugin Section

Our first highlight is the introduction of the E-commerce Plugin Banner.

This feature provides direct access to our E-commerce plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce and Prestashop

You can find the banner at the bottom of your dashboard: with one click, you can navigate to the dedicated page to download the plugin you need for your store.

Remember, API keys are essential for plugin functionality. Upgrade your plan to take full advantage of these E-commerce integrations.

Face Campaigns now available for Desktop devices

In our ongoing effort to make AR more accessible, we’re excited to announce that Face Campaigns can now run on desktop devices.  Users can now seamlessly launch and enjoy your AR experiences regardless of the device used.

This option, available in the Campaign Settings, allows end users to engage with AR Face Campaigns using their computer’s front camera, extending the reach of your campaigns to desktop users.

Launch experiences directly from Social Media links

The device barrier isn’t the only one we’re breaking this month.

With our latest update, links to AR experiences shared on social platforms now launch the experience directly, eliminating the need to manually switch browsers.

This enhancement significantly improves the user experience and engagement with your social media campaigns.

  • Automatic browser switching on Android: Users are prompted to confirm opening the experience in a compatible browser;

Direct launch on iOS: All campaigns except Surface launch directly in the browser, allowing a seamlessly transition from social media to AR content.
